Become a Board Member
MOSC is always looking for members of the community to serve on the MOSC Board to act as ambassadors and primarily assist in fund raising during each annual fund drive. The ideal board member is a person who knows and understands MOSC’s mission, knows the community, can deal with policy issues, and serves as a check and balance of the staff and funders. The MOSC Board of Directors consists of no fewer than 20 and no more than 52 Directors, with approximately an equal number of Directors from Midland and Odessa. The Board Development Committee nominates individuals for placement as Directors in April of each year. Each Director serves without compensation for a term of three years, beginning on July 1 and ending on June 30. The maximum continuous service are two full consecutive 3-year terms after which time, the Director must not be a member of the Board for a period of one year. For more information on becoming a board member, contact Diane Hilbert, Executive Director, at (432) 563-0921 or email dhilbert@mosc.org
